Sept. 6, 2008 - I'm a gamer. My wife is a gamer (she's actually an editor at one of the largest video game websites in the world). System performance is extremely important to us, to the point where I never ran active virus scanning/anti-spyware packages before because of how badly they'd cripple performance and be intrusive. I read about VIPRE in a comparison in a recent magazine and although VIPRE didn't come out on top every time (although close), the biggest thing that mattered to me was that there was minimal overhead. I'm buying an unlimited license for our 7 desktops and laptops in hopes that the next time those magazine review VIPRE vs your competition.. you'll trash them soundly! :)

Aug. 26, 2008 - I've been using Norton for years, and liked that fact that I could purchase a 3 license box. Sometimes it's hard to know who to go with, so since I didn't have too many issues I just never bothered changing. Recently though I heard of VIPRE from a reputable source, and after running the trial for a while am very comfortable with it. I do have 4 personal computers in my home, so the 4 or more (unlimited package) comes in very handy! Time to take Norton off my other computers! -- Darryl
